Hi, I'm Samad, and here's a little glimpse into my journey:

My junior year of high school is when it all began.

I tried yoga for the first time and never looked back.

After 5 years of self-practice, I decided to travel to the mountains in Asheville, North Carolina to get officially certified.

I remember vividly being one of the youngest ones there and feeling genuinely surprised and confused!

I wondered why the rest of the teachers in training were well in their 40s and above.

I definitely stood out but still felt comfortable with my decision.

After an intensive month of 12-hour days, zero days off, and 250 hours of yoga training, I became officially yoga certified.

The program left me exhausted in the best way possible, willing to do it all over again in a heartbeat.

After returning, I went on to study Business at my dream college, the University of Florida, and graduated in 2022.

During my time in college, I experimented with using rose water as a solution for my sensitive skin and eye health, which was actually a remedy that my grandma shared with me.

After years of trial, research, and success, I decided to launch Rosalution to the public which sold over 200 bottles in a year!

Upon graduation, I received an offer for a picture-perfect corporate job, and began my career.

Shortly after beginning my dream job, I learned the corporate lifestyle might not be cut out for me.

I gave it my best shot, but couldn’t help but think “I have dreams bigger than climbing the corporate ladder and working for somebody else’s company.”

I wanted to feel more purpose and pursue my passion of helping women heal.

I decided to leave my comfortable job and stable income to build something for myself and the women around me.

I knew immediately that I had something different to offer.

My background, culture and experiences allowed me to connect and relate to a population of women that needed yoga and wellness more than I realized!

Driven by my desire to feel more aligned to my purpose, I transitioned to working for a non-profit part-time.

Shortly after, I returned to Asheville where I originally got my yoga certification to gain some additional training.

The 50-hour immersive training was called “Rekindling the Flame” for yoga teachers.

The name was like music to my ears.

After returning from my trip to Asheville, in my free time, I began building my brand and working with friends and family to perfect the services I planned to share with the world.

Today I teach yoga classes at a women’s fitness studio and a non-profit, and provide mobile pottery classes, from 1-on-1’s to group classes for adults and kids.

I enjoy being my own boss and feel fulfilled in my freelance work, as well as in my involvement with nonprofit organizations in my community, where I provide yoga for women.

Outside of my career, I enjoy traveling, going on adventures, and trying new cafes with my friends and family!

I am sooo looking forward to connecting with you and being a part of your creative and wellness journey. :)
